On Thursday 30th July officers from Lisburn District Support Team (DST) alongside Lisburn City Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) conducted a day of action as part of Operation Lifesaver which focuses on Road Safety. All teams conducted vehicle check points, roadside breath tests and speed operations resulting in several Fixed Penalty notices being issued as well as more persons on escooters stopped and dealt with appropriately. Road safety will remain a priority for the PSNI and we will continue to be pro active, focusing on the Fatal 5, and assist in making our roads safer for all using them. |
